Position details

The position is responsible for the coordination of labeling management. This position will  maintain a comprehensive quality control system to ensure efficiency and accuracy of the labeling workflow. 

 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Assumes coordination of all aspects of labeling management covering the creation, printing, gathering and placement of labels.
  • Coordinating the communication of necessary product collateral (i.e. packaging, folding instructions, specification sheets, product photos), ensuring all information is clear, correct and provided by the due date.
  • Create technical specification packets for new or existing items, review product information to make sure it accurately reflects our products.
  • Assist with product information requests for product specifications related to exported product for current and potential business.
  •  Develop and maintain up to date information and documents for customer requirements and databases as necessary.
  •  Identify gaps and perceived operational issues and prepare proposals on areas for improvement. 
  •  Develops and implements inventory control procedures and best practices.
  •  Supervise, support and train the staff assigned.
  •  Ensures procedures are being followed and implemented.
  •  Other duties as assigned.

Educational Level and Focus:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Skills and Abilities:

  • Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with co-workers and customers and maintain them at all times. 
  • Manage time and deadlines to reinforce team work environment. 
  • Communicate information and ideas clearly in speaking, writing, via e-mail and other most effective modes of communication, Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred). 
  • Listen carefully and understand information and ideas. 
  • Identifying complex problems and issues by reviewing related information to develop solutions.  
  • Knowledge and usage of Information Systems to perform required duties and propose improvements. Proficient usage of Label View, Microsoft Word; Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; ABS.   
  • Ability to work in time sensitive stressful environment and drive results. 
  • Knowledge of logistics, warehouse flow, and quality control.

Physical Demands:

​Job requires working over a number of hours in one week when required to meet demand. Must be able to work in the office and in the fields, be physically fit to walk, bend, kneel, squat, bend your back and lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment:

Cold, hot and humid conditions, wet floors, high noise levels, forklift and pedestrian traffic.
